Anotace
This course is designed to cover all the areas needed to systematically develop language skills in academic and scientific areas (1), emphasizing the phenomena in academic and scientific fields (2). It covers the scope of the academic and scientific corpus (3), where students will learn how to evaluate ideas, explain concepts, and express opinions (4). The course also concentrates on the formal language generally used in written academic contexts (5).

The entry requirement for the course is knowledge of English at the B1 level.
Requirements for course completion:
Active participation in the class, processing of assigned tasks for the period of winter semester, presentation of the current state of own research, describing prospectives in the scientific area using the language for scientific and academic purposes, research timeline, final test
