The course focuses on understanding the fundamental freedoms of the internal market and the available forms of business support in the European Union. The core part of the course focuses on so-called fundamental economic freedoms, ie the free movement of goods, persons, services and capital. Students are further acquainted with entrepreneurship and its importance for the European Union, and with the available forms of business support in the internal market, which allows valid legislation. Attention is paid to both direct and indirect forms of business support in the EU and the Czech Republic in the current programming period, with particular emphasis on the support of small and medium-sized enterprises. Upon successful completion of the course, students will be able to solve individual cases in the internal market and will be able to identify appropriate business support in the context of Czech Republic membership in the EU.
