Concrete and masonry structures II

Summary

In the course "Concrete and Masonry Structures II," students will learn about the design of simple reinforced concrete structures. This includes the design of load-bearing structures for staircases, slabs, walls, and simple foundation structures. Students will learn the basic principles and differences in the design of monolithic and precast structures. Students will learn how to design basic masonry structures.

Learning outcomes:
-students will be able to design simple reinforced concrete load-bearing structures, specifically staircases, slabs, walls, and simple foundation structures,
-students will understand the basic principles of designing monolithic and prefabricated reinforced concrete structures and will be able to explain the differences between them,
-students will be familiar with the design of masonry structures in accordance with applicable standards.
