Subject syllabus
1.- 2. Design of simple reinforced concrete structures (beam ceiling, staircase, overhanging structures).
3.-5. Design of reinforced concrete slab and wall structures.
6.-8. Design of simple foundation structures (footing, strip under bearing wall).
9.-10. Design of retaining walls. Assessment of the bearing capacity and stability of the structure.
11.-12. Basic design principles of monolithic and precast reinforced concrete structures.
13. Design of simple masonry structures.
