Anotace
The subject Requirements for construction deals with and requirements for construction representing the fulfillment of public interest legislation. The requirements are discussed from the point of view of the user and its spatial requirements, namely the requirements for the demarcation of land (public spaces, parking spaces), the requirements for the siting of buildings (setbacks) and, in particular, the technical requirements for construction ensuring safety and accessibility, with requirements for sanitary facilities and changing rooms, vertical and horizontal communications, internal and external spaces of buildings, including special requirements for certain buildings.
Upon successful completion of the course, the student:
- defines, describes, and characterises the basic principles of the built environment and construction requirements arising from the fulfilment of the public interest,
- identifies and describes requirements for the delineation and arrangement of land plots, including public spaces and parking areas,
- recognises, explains, and interprets requirements for the siting of buildings within the territory, in particular setback distances,
- clarifies, distinguishes, and interprets technical requirements for buildings in relation to safety, use, and accessibility,
- applies and uses basic regulatory and technical requirements in building design and in work with the built environment.
