4. Fundamentals of inorganic chemistry – elements, compounds, bonds, mass, chemical equations, pH
5. Stone – definition, classification, use
6. Aggregates – definition, classification, new sources of aggregates
7. Binders – classification of binders, production, properties, use, gypsum and calcium binders,
8. Binders – cements, mixed cements, LC3, non-cement binders,
9. Concretes and mortars – definition and classification, reinforcement,
10. Concretes – fundamentals of concrete technology
11. Concretes – durability and development with regard to sustainable development (use of waste and recycled materials)
12. Fundamentals of ceramics
13. Glass as a building material
