Summary

The course follows the courses Building Construction I. and II. After completing the course, the student will be able to design various types of facades and roofs. The concept and content of the course are chosen so that students can correctly design facades and roofs for various types of buildings. For example, for low-energy, passive, zero-emission houses. Furthermore, so that students can design green roofs and facades, that are suitable for meeting the principles of sustainable construction. Students should then be able to connect properly design of envelopes and roofs with technologies that are currently found on envelopes or roofs. These include ventilation, heating systems or renewable energy technologies.
