Machinery and Equipment in Processing Plants

Summary

The course deals with material flows, including the study of basic mechanical, physical and geometrical properties of mineral resources in terms of transport, handling and subsequent storage. Deeper study mechanical equipment for quarrying. These include a basic description and capacity of machines and equipment used in treatment plants primary and secondary raw materials.

Course content is focused mainly on the theoretical description of the very basic structural components coupled with an extensive equipment base of the mathematical description of the behavior of materials in these facilities.

Attention is also paid to the composition of the machinery production lines, operation and maintenance principles.
