Subject syllabus

1. Logistics, the meaning of logistics, basic concepts, logistical sectors.
2. Data processing for logistical calculations (ABC analysis, etc.).
3. Supply logistics - basic goals, tasks.
4. Supply logistics - calculation of the optimal delivery size.
5. Production logistics - basic goals, tasks, disconnection point, logistical technologies in production.
6. Production logistics - maximization of profit from the production program.
7. Production logistics - material division task, application of scheduling theory in solving production logistics problems.
8. Distribution logistics - basic goals, tasks.
9. Intermodal and manipulation units and manipulation equipment used in logistics.
10. Distribution logistics - formulation of the distribution task, model and its solving in MS Excel.
11. Modern trends in logistics.
12. Simulation of logistical processes.
13. Invited lecture.
