Subject syllabus

1. Introduction of the Pro/Engineer Mechanism module, preparation of the mechanisms assembly to translation into Mechanism module.
2. Creation of mechanisms, basic types of connections of links, definition of the bodies, utilization of the user coordinate systems, definition of material properties.
3. Creation of the connections, types of connections, degrees of freedom and problem of redundancies, definition of initial conditions, basic connections – weld, pin, slider.
4. Extended connections – cylindrical, ball, bearing, planar.
5. Extended connections – free 6 DOF, general
6. Creation of the external loads, loading with the force, torque, gravitation.
7. Creation of the drives, types of drives, definition of the trajectories.
8. Internal measures – embedded measures, computed measures, their utilization and graphic expression
9. Creation of the contact areas, definition of the materials and their dumping
10. Creation of the cam-follower connection, definition of measures.
11. Creation of the gears, types of gears, utilization of the belt transmitions.
12. Types of embedded analyses, setting of the parameters, setting of the initial conditions, graphing of the results.
13. Animation of the mechanisms movement, investigation of the interferences among bodies.
14. Animation of the load vectors during mechanism movement.
