Summary

Upon successful completion of the course, the student:
– applies differential and integral calculus of complex functions to the solution of engineering problems,
– uses power, Taylor, and Laurent series in the analysis of complex functions,
– applies the theory of residues and the residue theorem to the evaluation of complex integrals,
– uses the Laplace transform, Fourier series, Fourier transform, and Z-transform to solve mathematical and engineering problems,
– interprets transformation results in relation to the modelling and analysis of technical systems.
