Physics of solids I

Summary

The subject belongs to a group of branch subjects, which builds on the student's knowledge of mathematics, basic courses in physics and quantum mechanics. The aim of the lecture is for the student to become familiar with selected fundamental concepts and basic physical principles from several basic properties of the physics of solids: thermal, electrical, magnetic, optical and mechanical. Due to the goal and time allocation, the basic mathematical apparatus of the subject Quantum Physics I is used for the interpretation.
