Praktická hydrogeochemie

Summary

The course deals with the issue of groundwater chemistry in the regime of their flow at the contact with the rock environment and in the places of their accumulation, solves the hydrogeochemical principles of groundwater for application in water management. The purpose of the course is to acquaint students with the main laws of groundwater in the rock environment, the characteristics of the rock and aquifers, with the methods of studying the chemistry of water resources, their evaluation and model predictions of their development. An integral part is the teaching of groundwater protection principles in the field of prevention (including existing legislation) and reparation of endangered resources.
