Field Training II

Language of instruction čeština
Code 544-0042
Abbreviation VT2
Course title Field Training II
Coordinating department Department of Geodesy and Mine Surveying
Course coordinator Ing. Jiří Pospíšil, Ph.D.

Summary

Fieldwork II is designed to provide practical application of the knowledge acquired in the courses Geodesy II, Geodesy I, and Fundamentals of Geodesy.

Technical Knowledge: Students will deepen their understanding of the methods and procedures of geodetic work building on the courses Fundamentals of Geodesy, Geodesy I, and Geodesy II, particularly in the area of creating geodetic data for project work and solving engineering geodesy problems.
Professional Skills: Students are able to apply the theoretical knowledge they have acquired in the field, prepare geodetic data for a project, and solve basic engineering geodesy problems, including the selection of appropriate surveying procedures, instruments, and methods for verifying measurements.
General Competence: The student is competent to perform basic geodetic fieldwork independently or as part of a team, organize and verify measurements, and process the results so that they are usable for project work and other professional tasks in geodesy.
