Industrial Toxicology and Ecotoxicology

Summary

The course focuses on the toxic effects of raw materials, intermediates, products and wastes in the industry on humans, especially in relation to environmental and occupational exposures and risks. Attention is also paid to determining the risks to the biosphere arising from human industrial activity. The essence of the course is knowledge about the effects of individual groups of substances on the human body and knowledge about which toxic substances are produced by which industry. An integral part of the course is legislation in the field of chemical safety and prevention.
