Digital Cartography

Summary

The graduate of the course get information about basic concepts of digital cartography. Based on the acquired knowledge of cartographic methods and also on the acquired practical skills, the graduate is able to apply the basic laws, rules and customs of creating thematic digital maps. This is especially evident in the creation of map outputs created by visualization of digital data stored in a spatial database. With regard to this goal, exercises are organised.
