Chemistry and Technology of Fuels

Summary

The course is devoted to the theory of thermal processes and their application on an industrial scale. It will provide comprehensive knowledge on the processing and energy use of fossil carbon fuels (coal, oil, natural gas) and biofuels with a close link to environmental protection. They will become acquainted with the new trends in fuel industry and strategic concepts from the viewpoint of the Czech Republic and world.
