5. Thermodynamics and mechanism of steel degassing.
6. Dissolution of oxygen in steel – thermodynamics and mechanism.
7. Terms of inclusions flotation by inert gas – their absorption by slag.
8. Steel refining by inert gases – effects – methods of realisation.
9. Vacuum steel refining – nucleation of gas bubbles – diffusion of gas atoms to the surface.
10. Technology of vacuum secondary metallurgy including equipment.
