Anotace

After completing the course, the student will achieve the following learning outcomes:

Knowledge: the student will explain the meaning and principles of quality management in industrial organizations; distinguish the basic concepts of quality management, standards of the ISO 9000 series and their requirements; describe quality management processes and procedures in different phases of the product life cycle; applies methods and tools for planning and continuous quality improvement; rational EU approaches to quality assurance and conformity assessment; will explain the economic aspects of quality management, including the measurement of quality costs.

Skills: the student applies ISO 9000 requirements in the design and evaluation of quality systems in the organization; analyzes and evaluates key processes of quality management and proposes measures for their improvement; applies standard methods and tools (eg SPC, FMEA, APQP, PDCA) for planning and quality improvement; calculates and evaluates economic quality indicators, including quality costs; interprets and applies EU requirements and procedures for conformity assessment in a specific business context.

General skills: the student independently chooses an appropriate procedure for solving quality management tasks and professionally justifies and defends the proposed solutions; communicates analysis results and recommendations in an understandable way for different target groups; works effectively in a team when implementing systems and improvement measures; makes responsible decisions based on available data and respects relevant legislative, security and professional requirements.
