Environmental aspects of transportation

Summary

The subject is oriented on the problematics of transportation impact on the living environment. The discussed topics include the direct impact of transport of materials and personal transport, as well as unexpected influences caused by accidents during transportation and possible prevention and mitigation of their impact on the living environment. The methods used for the evaluation of the pollution of the individual environmental components will be introduced and the interpretation of the obtained results will be targeted to reveal the contribution of transportation to their overall pollution.
