Human Resource Management

Summary

The course is focused on HRM in contemporary organizational and socioeconomic context. The course includes core HRM topics relevant to main personnel activities relevant to organizational and HRM strategy. In addition, an integral part of the course represent also topics reflecting current HRM issues, as for example quality of working life (work-life balance, work design, autonomy at work), contemporary approaches to motivation or intergenerational and intercultural issues. Particular topics are reflected in theoretical concepts, case studies and empirical research results from different organizations types operating in various countries over the world. Their importance in practice is supported. Particular topics are also related to methodological aspects and competitiveness issues.
