How to apply:
submit my projekt

We have prepared detailed steps that will
make it easier for you to log in. If you don't know
what to do, contact us and we will help you.

How to do it: step by step

Do you have a great idea for a student project? Wait for the call to open, submit the project and implement it! The next call is being prepared for the beginning of the academic year 2025/2026. Until then, you can consider where to apply. Your project can be revolutionary and creative, but it should definitely inspire other students. Join me and be part of a positive change, create k+ studentopolis dreams together!

Step 1: Who can submit a project

Are you a STUDENT of VŠB-TUO and is the beginning of the winter semester now? Great news! You can submit your project to k+ studentopolis right now. Form a team of 2 to 10 people, put your heads together and put your idea "on paper". The team can include not only students, but also VŠB-TUO employees. Your idea can be the first step to further positive change at the university, so don't hesitate to submit it!

Step 2: Where, when and for how long the project is implemented

You can always submit your project until October 9, then the competition closes and you will have the chance to apply again the following year. Your project may take an hour, a day, or it may include repeat activities. Not only that, but you can do it both on and off campus. You're free to do as you please! So why not give it a try?

The project must be implemented during the academic year, always by 31 May at the latest, exceptionally by 30 November.

Step 3: Where and when to submit a project

Do you want your project to be supported? You have to ask for it at the right time - when the competition is announced, which is always assumed to be at the beginning of September. The application itself is simple. Just fill it in the VŠB-TUO VSB-TUO project registration system.

Project registration system:

If you need help, look in the last tab, you can always find it in the last tab "Usefull documents".

Step 4: How much money can be obtained and for what

Do you need money for your project? Good news! We have up to CZK 50,000 for expenses in the form of services, purchase of materials or small property, scholarships and other costs. But be careful, everything must meet the requirements of VŠB-TUO. Always carefully read the conditions in the challenge or be inspired by Realized projects 2023.

If you don't know what to do, please contact us.

Step 5: How projects are selected

Each project is assessed by evaluators and an evaluation committee based on clear and predetermined criteria and rules to ensure a fair and transparent evaluation. We are pleased that students are also part of the evaluation. The project can receive full or partial financial support, but it can also be rejected. Some projects may be invited to a pitch presentation, which is a great opportunity to communicate more about the idea.

Step 6: Project implementation, control, termination

Once the project is approved, you can start implementing your idea. We will meet at the initial meeting, where we will explain how to document expenses and provide you with support during implementation. We leave you maximum freedom, but also responsibility for your steps. After the end of the project, you will write a final report on how the project went for you.
