Members of the consortium and other guests gather annually at U!REKA CONNECTS. At the beginning of June, the event is hosted for the first time by VSB – Technical University of Ostrava.
VSB-TUO is part of a strong university community that brings together seven higher education institutions across Europe under the name URBAN RESEARCH AND EDUCATION KNOWLEDGE ALIANCE, abbreviated U!REKA. Together, they are taking significant steps to strengthen Europe's climate neutrality goals through education, research and innovation.
The U!REKA Alliance has jointly received support within the European University Initiative. Our joint project U!REKA SHIFT has been selected for funding by the European Commission. The project has three main areas: smart and sustainable cities, transition to a circular society, innovative governance models and citizen involvement.
