VSB-TUO promotes equal opportunities and employees who are caring for a child or a loved one, have a medical disability that allows them to perform their work but limits their access to the workplace or are dealing with other situations that make it difficult for them to perform their work can take advantage of the following to address their life situations:

  • part-time work, performance of work under an Agreement to perform work or an Agreement to complete a job (provided that the employer's operating conditions allow it),
  • work away from the regular workplace (telecommuting) including the use of the employer's work equipment to carry out work away from the workplace (provided that the employer's operating conditions allow this),
  • flexible working hours (provided that the employer's operating conditions allow it),
  • carry-over of untaken leave to the following year in accordance with the Labour Code (provided that the employer's operating conditions allow it),
  • 6 weeks of leave for non-academic staff (2 weeks in excess of the statutory limit),
  • subsidised canteen meals,
  • preferential admission of children of VSB-TUO employees to the university kindergarten,
  • offer of leisure activities for employees’ children (clubs during the academic year, camps during school holidays, etc.),
  • wheelchair accessible buildings,
  • baby changing facilities in the Building B toilets.
