The meeting will take place on 3-4 April 2025 in the inspiring environment of the Dolní Vítkovice technical monument in Ostrava, where you will have a unique opportunity to network with experts from various fields. Current projects focused on biomedicine and the development of innovative solutions for clinical practice, which are being worked on by experts from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science of the VSB - TUO, will be presented by Radek Martinek, Vice Dean for Science and Research.
"I will describe the important and sometimes complicated collaboration between engineers and doctors. I will talk about how to turn an idea into a patent, how to get funding to start a project, how to make and test a prototype, and how challenging it is to get software or hardware into routine clinical practice. The topics are related to innovative technologies and artificial intelligence, but there will also be some funny stories from practice," said Radek Martinek.
