His work includes supporting projects involving fuel-cell integration, prototype vehicles, and hydrogen energy systems, as well as coordinating the company’s participation in research and innovation projects and international consortia. Before joining DEVINN, he worked at CzechInvest, where he gained experience in connecting academia with industry and facilitating collaboration on innovation activities.

The presentation introduces realised projects ranging from fuel-cell powertrain integration and vehicle prototypes to hybrid hydrogen-based energy systems. Unlike conceptual studies, these implementations provide operational data obtained from testing and real-world operation. Based on these experiences, the talk analyses key challenges affecting wider hydrogen deployment. Topics include certification and homologation requirements, safety engineering in practical applications, small-series manufacturing economics, infrastructure dependency, and the gap between concept and industrial implementation.
