The project contributed to establishing long-term intersectoral cooperation research organisations (VSB - Technical University Ostrava, Fraunhofer Institute for Machine Tools and Forming Technology) and several commercial partners such as SIEMENS, HELLA, BROSE, Moravian-Silesian Innovation Centre, and others. The research focused on current trends in automation and digitalisation, covering topics such as artificial intelligence (including investment in a computing server for AI-based signal analysis), 3D object scanning (for identification and detection), automation of electrical testing with potential applications in lighting production, big data analysis, and the implementation of sensors and monitoring systems.
