The GUMES (Green Urban Mobility Eco System) project focuses on the development of a modular e-charging system for small electric vehicles in urban environments. The goal is to create hubs for safe parking and charging for e-mobility.

The project includes the development of robust and aesthetically pleasing electric charging stations, a prototype of an electric vehicle for energy transport, an online platform for intelligent rental monitoring, and public demonstrations in Saxony and Ostrava. Another project goal is the development of a large-scale 3D gantry capable of free-forming metal plates through incremental spinning. This allows to produce customized geometries in batches of one, even without the otherwise required, highly complex mold and tool construction.
