The aim of the course is to prepare students for writing their BA/ MA theses and provide them with the necessary knowledge and competencies to navigate traditional documents, information resources and library services, including the ability to work with electronic resources and artificial intelligence tools. In addition to the theoretical and practical foundations of information literacy, the course focuses on the development of critical reading, thinking and argumentation using rhetorical text analysis, i.e. students learn from examples of good practice in their fields. Last but not least, the course deals with ethical issues related to research, including proper citation of sources.
