Workshop: LITERATURE SEARCH IN A NUTSHELL: Search Tools & Artificial Intelligence Basics

A practical workshop that introduces students to literature searches and AI basics as good literature search practice saves time, minimizes the risk of mistakes, and improves the quality of your work.

This workshop is primarily intended for first- and second-year undergraduate students.

Many students think they can complete their bachelor’s thesis using Google and AI.

Sure, we have to start somewhere. We can read, write, and count, and there is more than enough information on the internet.

But if you are starting to feel that good sources are not so easy to “just Google,” and that working with artificial intelligence is not as simple as it seems, reserve your spot and get your synapses ready for a short marathon. There is a lot to clarify.

The workshop will take place on May 28, 2026 in the Central Library, room UK150, between 8.00 and 14:00.

The workshop will be facilitated by Mgr. Vendula Hustáková.

Workshop is held within the project Staff development and student support at VŠB-TUO CZ.02.02.XX/00/23_022/0009115.

We look forward to seeing you at the workshop.

Capacity: 15 participants
