Current research tasks in the field of applied research are becoming increasingly complex and require system competences that span several research disciplines. The FIP-AI@VSB-TUO is the ideal solution for all the partners to establish strong complementary expertise in a broad spectrum of the value chain comprising material and system development, manufacturing technologies and digitalised added value.
FIP-AI@VSB-TUO opens up new know-how, consolidates its position in its traditional industries and enables the acquisition of several fields of competence at the same time. It fosters the implementation of “Energiewende” well in line with the Fraunhofer Strategic Research Areas Resource Efficiency & Climate Technologies, AI and Next Generation Computing.
FIP-AI@VSB-TUO will develop overall solutions for technologies within the scope of the European Green Deal, especially in the Policy areas “Clean energy” and “Sustainable industry”.
