The power consumption of supercomputers approaching 1EFLOPs will increase dramatically. The main goal of the institutions participating in the Runtime Exploitation of Application Dynamism for Energy-efficient eXascale computing (READEX) project was to develop an automated debugging tool that makes complex computations and simulations more efficient through new techniques and scenarios that change software and hardware parameters such as the frequency of computing cores. The role of IT4Innovation was to evaluate the dynamism in HPC applications, manual debugging and subsequent evaluation and validation of the developed tools, taking the results of this manual debugging as a baseline.
