VSB - Technical University of Ostrava supports the creation of solutions with foreign patent protection, effective ways of commercialisation, and the creation of new university spin-off companies. The aim of this is to become a visible and sought-after partner in the industrial sector. Support for activities leading to the production of patents has led to an increase in the number of such outputs. In 2020, VSB-TUO registered a total of 265 newly generated applied R&D results, including 20 patent applications, 44 utility model applications and 3 industrial designs.
