The aim of the Promotion of STEM education by key scientific challenges and their impact on our life and career perspectives (STEM4you(th)) project was to create a comprehensive, multidisciplinary series of courses focused on science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM), mainly for secondary school students aged 14-19, in the form of formal and informal education. The content of the courses covered mathematics, physics, astronomy, chemistry, engineering, and medicine, and included practical applications and their impact on our daily lives and work. The project highlighted the specific skills and competencies that STEM education develops and how it addresses the current and future needs of the European labour market. The project provided an insight into these technical fields and the job characteristics associated with them in order to help young people make conscious decisions about their future (choice of field and career path).
