External Evaluation by the European University Association

VSB – Technical University of Ostrava (VSB-TUO) is committed to continuously enhancing the quality of its educational, research, and creative activities. To obtain independent feedback and support its strategic development, the University participated in the Institutional Evaluation Programme (IEP) of the European University Association (EUA). The IEP provides universities with an international evaluation focused on assessing their overall performance and long-term development.
The evaluation primarily addresses:
- governance and decision-making,
- quality culture,
- teaching and learning,
- management of research and use of research results,
- service to society,
- internationalisation.
The outcome of the evaluation is a set of recommendations provided by an international evaluation team, helping the University identify opportunities for improvement and strengthen its position within the European Higher Education Area.
