VSB - Technical university of Ostrava card center issues and manage campus identity cards (student, ISIC, ALIVE Student, ITIC, ALIVE Employee, Employee etc). Card center is located on the ground floor of the building A in Ostrava Poruba campus (campus map).

News

The price for the ISIC, ITIC, Alive revalidation stamp has been increased.

It is also possible to pay for the services provided by the Card Center with a bank card (does not apply to a deposit to the Services Account).

It is not possible to revalidate the card remotely or send a revalidation stamp by post. The card must be brought by someone - its is not required to be brought by owner. The extension can be done immediately after enrollment in the next year.

You have a keychain issued - advice on using it.

Mo - Fr: 8:00 - 11:00, 12:00 - 15:00 (June - August)

Extended working hours in case of full occupancy of KC (not guaranteed)
Mo - Fr: 7:30 - 17:00 (September - May)
Mo - Fr: 7:30 - 16:00 (June - August)

If you want to come to the Card Center during "extended" working hours we recommend you to check it first.

Provided services

  • issuance and revalidation of Standard, ISIC and ALIVE Student cards (a version with ODIS is also available)
    • revalidation can be arranged outside the holiday period also on the premises EKF (in the library) FBI (in the library)
    • updating the student profile on VŠB-TUO cards with ODIS functionality
  • issuance of Identification card, issuance and revalidation of ITIC and ALIVE Employee card (a version with ODISka is also available)
  • reporting a lost of the card
  • deposit of money to the Services Account (reprographic services - SafeQ, ATS, catering)
  • single password reset - requests via email are not possible for security reasons
  • registration of OSU students, VŠB-TUO retirees
  • failure reporting and reprographic service complaints made via the SafeQ system
  • payment of the balance on the Service Account at the end of the studies
  • information about the issued license (including a photo - to download, right-click on the photo and choose Save Image)
