In the time of changes - Planning resilient cities for the future

The course provides students with specific approaches used to develop the resilience of cities, using the example of Helsinki, Frankfurt and Ostrava (+ 1-2 more partners).

In the introductory part, students get to know the basic principles used in practice in individual cities and present examples of all three cities online for the whole group. In the practical part in Ostrava, students will visit important areas of the city that are currently undergoing transformation. In the form of a workshop, they will evaluate the approach and results in a specific area of ​​the city and develop a concept for solving the necessary measures for the selected area.

Participants who successfully complete the program will receive 3 ECTS.

Our BIP is designed to foster a multidisciplinary approach, bringing together students and professionals from diverse fields including technical, social, and health sciences.
