The subject is an introduction to the problems of municipal engineering. The parts are practically an introduction to the study of other special subjects. Students will gain a basic overview of the field of urban engineering and all its contexts, learn to understand basic relationships and links in the development of urban structures. |

Learning outcomes of the course unit The aim of the course is to acquaint students with basic aspects of urban engineering. Attention is paid to the historical development of settlements and their influence on the contemporary image of the towns, detailed urban functions and current problems of urban development. |
