Summary
Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit
Introduction to the processes of building materials production. The subject deals with main aspects of cement, lime and other binders production, production of brick and ceramic products, production of mineral fibers and thermal insulation, stone and aggregates. Furthermore, there are described the production of light building materials, such as keramzit or perlite, waterproofing and glass production.

Preparation of raw materials, production of cement, lime and other binders
Manufacture of brick products and ceramics
Extraction and treatment of stone and aggregates
Production of mineral fibers and insulation
