Summary
Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit
The course is focused on the use of building materials in building practice, including individual types of raw materials processing, logistics of building materials and their subsequent use in the construction process.
Students will also acquire knowledge in the field of storage of building products and building materials, their environmental impact is also taken into account.
Course Contents
Construction materials in building practice - most commonly used types of raw materials, their distribution and description, mining, overview and classification of bearings, treatment of raw materials. Standards and legal requirements. Possibilities of using secondary raw materials in building practice. Logistics and storage of building materials in the process of preparing and realizing constructions, methods of acceptance and express quality control, recording capabilities, landfill safety and mechanization
