Summary |

The course introduced students to the development, present and the possible development directions in the field of CBRN agents.
It highlighted of their possibilities of misuse, while the ways of protecting against the consequences of their use.
The analysis (strengths and weaknesses) of national and international legislation in this area.
The workshop will be analyze in modeling experiments CBRN substances of abuse. |
Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit |

The goal of the subject is to get basic knowledge about CBRN for planning and realization of prevention provisions the case of their usage. |
Course Contents |

- CBRNE substance, history, divisions, common and different principles of effect for CNBNE sphere
- National legislation, task of national authorities
- International organization, international contracts and treatments in the CNBNE sphere
- Chemical weapons (chemical structure, preparing, effect)
- Biological weapons (bacteria, viruses, toxin)
- Possible use of chemical and biological agents from accessible sources
- Protection against the chemical and biological weapons
- Nuclear and radiologic terrorism
- Detection and identification of CBRN agents, protection against their effect
- Properties and differences of explosives, incidence of blast, detection and identification of explosive
- Simulation of CBRN agents spreading in the space
- Activities of ČR from point of ZHN non-proliferation
- Practice at the workplace with chemical warfare agents and risk of biological agents
