Summary
To acquaint students with basic issues and trends of terrorism,
extremism and organized crime. Creating a theoretical and practical
assumptions for their guidance in this area.
Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit
Student regaining along studies theoretic knowledge susceptible him appreciation security menaces in Czech republic and their evaluation apply to concrete subjects practically
Course Contents
1) Allocation of security threats
2) Global and regional threats to security threats
3) The definition, history, evolution and typology of terrorism, its strategy and
tactics,
4) Means and methods of terrorism, its financing, criminal terrorism,
fundamentalist terrorism,
5) The structure and activity of selected terrorist organizations,
6) Risk analysis of terrorist threats,
7) The Extremist Scene in the Republic and its symbols,
8) Right-wing radical groups in our country and the world
9) The left-wing radical groups in our country and the world
10) Other radical groups, spectator violence,
11) Religious extremism and environmental extremism, objectives and methods
12) typology of substance abuse and dependence in the present,
13) negative social phenomena, bullying, vandalism
14) Corruption and organized crime
