Summary
The course introduces students to the terms, conditions, systems management and security policy enterprise protection, with analysis of each physical protection systems based on the identification, analysis and assessment of risks arising from the protection of people, property and information, with the main emphasis on protection against infringement. Acquainted with information protection, defense against competitive intelligence, capacitive and engineering issues of ensuring security, the economic aspect of protecting an enterprise, the domino effect, symmetry, and the rule ALARP, systems, regulations and circulation of documentation techniques, assessment of risks arising from human error .
Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit
Student gains during the study theoretical knowledge to enable them to manage physical security system applied to specific entities in practice.
Course Contents
1. Legislation on corporate protection. Standards of physical protection.
2. Internal state security and security services in the protection of enterprises.
3. Enterprise protection systems and information protection.
4. Capacity issues in security.
5. Security design issues.
6. Economic aspects of enterprise protection ALARA
7. Symmetry, domino effect in enterprise protection.
8. Regime and physical protection systems. Operating rules.
9. Specifics, focus of so-called security and safety security in the enterprise.
10. Identification of risk in the enterprise and methods of risk modelling.
11. Techniques of enterprise risk assessment and their verification.
12. Methods of quantifying human failure.
13. Technical problem solving, statistics and scientific work in safety.
