Summary
Introduce students to the basic issues and trends and preventing illegal phenomena, namely terrorism, extremism and crime. Splits security threats, threats to global and regional security threats, definition, history, evolution and typology of terrorism, its strategy, means and methods. Extremist scene in the Czech Republic, spectator violence, religious extremism and environmental extremism, objectives and methods Typology of other social pathologies and current types of addiction, bullying, vandalism, corruption and organized crime.
Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit
Student gains during the study theoretical knowledge to enable him to carry out prevention of infringement in the Czech Republic and their evaluation applied to specific entities in practice.
Course Contents
1) Primary, secondary and tertiary prevention of infringements in general
2) Global and regional threats to security threats
3) Definition, history, evolution and typology of terrorism, its strategy and tactics,
4) Prevention and methods of combating terrorism and its financing, criminal terrorism, fundamentalist terrorism,
5) The risk analysis of terrorist threats and their prevention
6) extremist scene in the Czech Republic and its symbolism, extremism and political radicalism
8) Prevention of radicalism, extremism and spectator violence,
11) Social pathological phenomena bullying, vandalism and their prevention,
12) Typology of addictive substances and contemporary types of addictions, prevention of these phenomena
13) crime in general, violent, economic and its prevention
14) Corruption and organized crime, prevention
