Summary
Fire Tactics I deals with fire origin, development and full development and
also fire interruption and other associated phenomena accompanying fires in
open and confined spaces. Fire Tactics I presents procedures for the
determination of fire extent and area, heat and smoke exchange in structures.
Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit
Learning assessment area from the viewpoint of fire, the fire spread forms characterize and evaluate the factors that limit the spread of fire. Establish the scope and area of fire in buildings, depending on the time. Solving gas exchange and the extent of smoke after a fire in the buildings.
Course Contents
1st Introduction to teaching content, the rules for granting credits, requirements for test
and determining the focus of a semester of work. Terminology used.
2nd Conditions influencing the emergence of burning fire and its development, the fire load
zones in the classification of fires and fire. Parameters of fire: the burning and spread
fire area and perimeter of the fire, flame height, temperature, fire, gas exchange and
heat, density and composition of the smoke.
3rd Development of Fire: determining the extent of fire area and perimeter of the fire.
4th A fire in the open field: characteristics, changing the parameters, the method of dissemination and
influencing factors.
5th A fire in an enclosed building: characteristics, method of distribution, gas exchange and
Heat and influencing factors.
6th The exchange of gases during combustion in the open field and objects. Ventilation
smoky areas.
7th Principles and procedures for suspension burning.
