Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit |

Course contents (annotation): The subject deals with the problems of the commercial security industry with a focus on private security services, private detective activities and security escorts of persons and property with emphasis on their position, place, role and legal definition in the security system and social and situational prevention system in the Czech Republic. Emphasis is placed on their empowerment, duties, qualification assumptions, methods and forms of work, content of activities, means and tools of work, ethics of behavior and behavior, including cooperation with the Czech Police and the municipal police. Attention is paid to security research, security risk analysis, security forecasting and design in the field of private security, including the solution of model examples. |

1. The legal framework of private security services in the Czech Republic and abroad, comparison, basic differences.
2. The theoretical and methodological basis of the activities of private security services.
3. The position, place and role of private security services in the Czech Republic in the security system and in the system
social and situational prevention. Protection of public order.
4. Location and role of private security services in the security system of the Czech Republic.
5. Authorization to operate private security services in the Czech Republic.
6. Qualification requirements - professional competence for the performance of the trade Guarding of persons and property, including the trade Service
private detectives.
7. System for the organization and management of private security services.
8. Forms, methods, procedures and content of private security services.
9 Employees of private security services - limitation of personal freedom, use of defense and defense
technical means.
10. Tactics of interventions by private security personnel, ethics of behavior and public performance.
11. Relations of private security services to state and non-state entities of the Czech security system
republic.
12. Security Surveillance Principles and Procedures, Security Risk Analysis, Security Forecasting, and
security designing in private security practice.
13. Basics of preventive action.
