Summary
Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit
Learning outcomes of the course unit The aim of the subject is to introduce the students with essential information about chemical and radioactive substances, including biological agents, which can be used in war conflicts, terrorist and criminal activities.
Course Contents
- chemical poisonous substances, their division and characteristics,
- risk and high-risk biological agents, their classification, selection parameters for their misuse,
- the interaction of toxic, radioactive and biological agents with the living organism,
- precautionary and protective measures against CBRN substances,
- international and national legislation limiting abusive CBNR (pros and cons).
An analysis of the course and results of the experiments simulating the abuse of OL and Ba will be carried out in: the Prague metro, the Office of the Government, the Old Town Square, public transport. They will be acquainted with the methodology and procedure for processing the risk shipment, finding, including the necessary laboratory background.
