Summary
The course focuses on the explanation of the basic concepts for studying the negative impacts to the environment (accident, pollution), legislation in the area of environmental protection (SEA, EIA, IPPC, and others), environmental management (ISO 14 000) and methods for the environmental impact assessment caused by accidents.
Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit
The aim of this course is to clearly and comprehensively inform students about the meaning, definition and components of environment and their protection from the safety point of view.
