Summary
Course contents (annotation): The subject deals with the problems of the commercial security industry with a focus on private security services, private detective activities and security escorts of persons and property with emphasis on their position, place, role and legal definition in the security system and social and situational prevention system in the Czech Republic. Emphasis is placed on their empowerment, duties, qualification assumptions, methods and forms of work, content of activities, means and tools of work, ethics of behavior and behavior, including cooperation with the Czech Police and the municipal police. Attention is paid to security research, security risk analysis, security forecasting and design in the field of private security, including the solution of model examples.
Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit
The student will acquire theoretical knowledge important for understanding the issue of physical security represented by commercial security services. They will be able to apply the acquired knowledge using security analysis and synthesis, as a result of which they will be able to correctly evaluate and respond to the security situation.

3. Means and procedures for the security search of persons, objects, vehicles.
4. Civil restriction of personal freedom.
5. Circumstances excluding illegality.
6. Commercial security industry.
7. Qualification prerequisites for professions in commercial security services.
8. Physical security I - duties, subject of activity, division.
9. Physical security II - tasks, methods, forms of activity.
10. Authorization of physical security personnel.
11. General, specific principles of guard activities.
12. Means of private security activities.
13. Rights, duty of guard.
