Summary |

The course deals with the creation of technical documentation and explains the functions of machine parts, shaft couplings, pressure vessels, piping, fittings, pumps and compressors. Students will learn to work with technical documentation. At the same time, they will gain a basic overview of engineering materials, their properties and testing. They will also get an overview of connecting parts and joints, bearings, shafts and shaft couplings, their stress, static and mainly dynamic. They will also have an overview of mechanical gears, pressure vessels, pipelines, fittings, pumps and compressors. |
Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit |

Learning outcomes of the course unit the aim of the course is to acquire basic knowledge of technical documentation creation and function of machine parts, shaft couplings, pressure vessels, piping, fittings, pumps and compressors. Students will learn to work with technical documentation. At the same time, they will gain a basic overview of engineering materials, their properties and testing. They will also get an overview of connecting parts and joints, bearings, shafts and shaft couplings, their stress, static and mainly dynamic.
